The thermal decomposition temperature of magnesium hydroxide reaches 330 ℃, which is 100 ℃ higher than that of aluminum hydroxide, so it is beneficial to improve the processing temperature of plastics, accelerate the extrusion speed and shorten the molding time. The product has high glossiness, no surface defects, and high peeling strength.

 

2. The magnesium oxide produced after combustion and dehydration of magnesium hydroxide is a kind of high-strength and heat-resistant material, which can be used as a protective wall to isolate the fire source and toxic and harmful gases. The neutralization ability of magnesium hydroxide and acid is strong, and it can neutralize the acid gases SO2, NOx, CO2, etc. produced in the process of plastic combustion quickly.

 

3. The decomposition energy of magnesium hydroxide is high, which is good for absorbing the heat of combustion and improving the efficiency of flame retardant.
