Magnesium hydroxide and magnesium oxide are next to magnesium sulfate and potassium magnesium sulfate. Some countries have officially registered it as basic magnesium fertilizer. The main component of brucite is magnesium hydroxide, which belongs to slightly soluble basic magnesium fertilizer. On the one hand, the release rate of effective magnesium is slow, usually in the form of slow effect magnesium fertilizer application, on the other hand, due to low solubility, little leaching loss.

Brucite granular fertilizer is a kind of spherical particle with diameter of φ 2-4mm, which is prepared by mixing brucite, natural magnesium sulfate and light burned magnesium, using water or 5% (mass) citric acid solution as binder, through material mixing, granulation, drying and packaging steps, including: moisture content ≤ 1%, hardness of 1.5-4kg/cm2, disintegration rate ≥ 90%, and solubility of 5%. This product is a pure natural product, with round and even particles, high hardness and good disintegration. When it is mixed with other fertilizers, it is easy to mix and keep even, reduce powder pollution and waste.
