There are three methods to produce the flame retardant Du agent magnesium hydroxide: the first is a simple physical grinding method. Magnesium hydroxide, a high-quality flame retardant abroad, is generally produced by the latter two methods. It has the advantages of fine particle size, small surface area and good shape plate. Hydrothermal process is simple, good quality, but high production cost. The relative technology of water method is very complex, but the production cost is low. In order to reach the capacity of large-scale production, water technology is generally selected. There are a lot of people studying the two processes in China.
