Classification of Desulfurizers

According to the different raw materials, it can be roughly divided into the following categories: 1. Desulfurizer made of pure ferric oxide hydrate plus moulding agent and pore-forming agent. This kind of iron oxide desulfurizer uses pure hydrated iron oxide, and the production process of pure hydrated iron oxide is extremely complex and cumbersome. Therefore, the desulfurizer produced by this method has high content of hydrated iron oxide and high cost. At present, there are not many factories using this method to produce desulfurizer in China. (For example, T703 of Hubei Institute of Chemistry, XYF-2 of Xiangyu Chemical Industry and Yuxin 2 of Yuxin Activated Carbon Plant are produced by this method.) 2. Desulfurizer made of ferrous sulfate and alkaline substance plus forming agent and pore-forming agent. Due to the low cost of raw materials, there are many factories using this method to produce desulfurizer, but the content of ferric oxide hydrate is low. 3. Desulfurizer made from natural iron ore. The desulfurizer produced by this method is limited by the origin of raw materials. At present, many factories in Shanxi produce desulfurizer by this method.
