Application in Paper

Light calcium powder is widely used as filler and reinforcing agent in rubber, plastics, PVC pipes, profiles, coatings, paper, paint, sealant, daily necessities, medicine and feed. It can not only increase the volume, reduce the cost, but also improve the processing performance of the matrix. It can also play the role of reinforcing, tension resistance, wear resistance, tear resistance and gloss improvement. So calcium carbonate is not a general filler, but a functional filler. Lightweight calcium carbonate with high whiteness and good fluidity is the largest filler for PVC pipes and profiles. It has obvious effects on increasing volume, stabilizing size, heat resistance, smoothness and gloss of products, thus reducing costs and improving quality of products. Because the production process of light calcium powder is complex, the price is high, and the production of light calcium powder pollutes the environment, the current commercial trend is to replace light calcium powder with heavy calcium powder as far as possible.
