Application field of magnesium hydroxide

1. Magnesium hydroxide is an excellent flame retardant for plastic and rubber products. In terms of environmental protection, as a flue gas desulfurizer, it can replace caustic soda and lime as a neutralizer of acid containing wastewater. It is also used as an oil additive to prevent corrosion and desulfurization. In addition, it can also be used in the refining of electronic industry, medicine and granulated sugar, as thermal insulation materials and manufacturing other magnesium salt products.






2. Magnesium hydroxide has excellent buffer performance, reactivity, adsorption capacity and thermal decomposition performance. It can be used not only as chemical materials and intermediates, but also as a green flame retardant and additive for rubber, plastics, fibers, resins and other polymer material industries. Magnesium hydroxide is mainly used in the field of environmental protection as a flame retardant, acid wastewater treatment agent, heavy metal removal agent, flue gas desulfurization agent, etc.






3. This product can be used as a flame retardant or a flame retardant filler. It can be added to polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and ABS resins, and has good flame retardancy and smoke suppression effects. The addition amount is 40 ~ 20 parts.






However, anionic surfactants are needed to treat the surface of particles. Cheap anionic surfactants such as higher fatty acid-base metal salts or alkyl sulfates and sulfonated succinate can be used, and the dosage is about 3%. This product is also used in the manufacture of magnesium salt, refining of granulated sugar, pharmaceutical industry, daily chemical industry, etc.
