Use of industrial magnesium oxide

The main uses of industrial magnesium oxide are as follows:
1. Used as a filler in the manufacture of polishing agents, adhesives, and paints.
2. Used as a promoter and catalyst in man-made fibers and rubber (neoprene, fluororubber).
3. In food processing, it can be used as a decolorizing agent for refining granulated sugar, and a PH regulator for ice cream powder.
4. In the construction industry, magnesium oxide can be used to produce magnesium containing special cement and insulation boards.
5. It is used in the chemical industry to manufacture metallic magnesium and magnesium chemicals, such as magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride, and other chemicals.
6. It is also used in water treatment, flue gas washing, and in glass, dye, cable, silicon steel industry, uranium processing, electronics industry, insulation material industry, as well as in petroleum additives, casting, phenolic plastics, and other industries.
