Brucite is a mineral formed by low temperature hydrothermal erosion in dolomite or serpentinite. The crystal structure is layered, and the ore structure layer is ionic bond, which can be maintained by phases. The monocrystal of brucite presents the shape of thick plate, the common ones are lamellar and fibrous, in addition, it often forms the appearance of periclase.
