Brief introduction of desulfurizer

Desulfurizer generally refers to the agent that removes free sulfur or sulfur compounds from fuel, raw materials or other materials; In the control and treatment of pollutants, it mainly refers to the chemicals used to remove sulfur oxides (including SO2 and SO3) in waste gas. Various basic compounds can be used as desulfurizers. Cheap lime, limestone and alkaline solution prepared with calcareous agent are the most widely used desulfurizers for removing sulfur dioxide from flue gas. Desulfurizer can absorb most of sulfur dioxide in flue gas and fix it in fuel slag. Chemical plants and smelters often use solutions such as sodium carbonate and alkaline aluminum sulfate as desulfurizers to treat tail gas containing sulfur dioxide, which can be desorbed and recycled. The mixed solution desulfurizer has surface activity and catalytic oxidation, which can promote the direct reaction of SO2, accelerate the dissolution of CaCO3, promote the rapid oxidation of CaSO4 to CaSO4, strengthen the precipitation of CaSO4, reduce the liquid-gas ratio, reduce the calcium-sulfur ratio and reduce the evaporation of water. When SO2 concentration at the flue gas inlet increases and is higher than the design value, the PH value in the reaction tank of the absorption tower decreases, and a larger Ca/S ratio is needed. Under the condition that the volume of the reaction tank of the absorption tower does not need to be expanded, CaCO3 can dissolve quickly, increase the concentration of calcium ions, keep the PH value of slurry in a normal range, and have a certain buffering effect on the PH value. Prolonging the running time of slurry in working section and reducing the times of slurry preparation can obviously reduce the scaling of equipment and make the scale layer thinner. After shutdown, the scale layer is washed with water and easy to fall off. It can disperse and move the scaling of desulfurization system, reduce the deposition of scaling and the content of chloride ions in slurry, and reduce the corrosion and scaling rates of various materials in desulfurization equipment to varying degrees, among which carbon steel is the most reduced, and the corrosion and scaling rates can be reduced by 74% and 79% respectively, and PVC can be reduced by 48% and 55%. The addition of desulfurizer can play the role of scale inhibition, corrosion inhibition, reduce blockage, scaling, corrosion and wear of desulfurization nozzle, reduce scaling, corrosion and wear of slurry circulating pump and impeller, and reduce maintenance and replacement of spare parts in desulfurization system. Broaden the selection range of desulfurization materials and improve the reliability of the system. Under different working conditions, slurry circulating pump and oxidation fan can be reduced and stopped, so as to improve desulfurization efficiency and reduce operation cost, which is suitable for the change of sulfur content in coal and high-sulfur coal.
