The formation of brucite

Brucite is a low-temperature hydrothermal alteration mineral in dolomite or serpentinite. The crystal structure of the ore is layered. The structural layer of the ore is ionic bond, and each layer of the structure can be maintained by phase. The single crystal of brucite presents a thick plate shape, commonly including flake and fiber shape. In addition, it often forms the appearance of periclase.
